Your dreams, your future. explore the possibilities
our mission
We believe in meeting girls at the very beginning of their journeys when dreams are still forming Our goal is to open doors to industries they may have never imagined, build networks that uplift and guide them, and offer mentorship that turns early ambitions into real, achievable goals.
We create spaces where girls can explore their potential freely, boldly, and with the support of a community that believes in them before the world even sees them.
We are dedicated to supporting all girls aged 12 to 18, with a dedicated focus on Black girls and girls from other racial backgrounds that are often underrepresented.

We want to understand your world, the highs and the lows, from friendships and social media to school, mental health, career dreams, and how supported (or unsupported) you feel along the way. Your answers will help shape real solutions: from school resources and parent guidance to retreats and safe spaces designed with you, not just for you.
This is more than a survey, it’s a chance to speak your truth, be heard, and be part of something bigger.

"This program can impact a lot of people. Hearing Aron’s struggles, passions and his journey really motivates me to pursue what I want to do. This program has made me figure out who I want to be in the future."
Chloe Chan on meeting Aron Gelbard (Founder & CEO of Bloom & Wild)
I started the year with no confidence and having no idea that the need for good communication and teamwork skills are extremely salient, I wanted to understand the world of work and The Women Association has given me a great insight and outlook on what life as someone with a job will look like. Working with McCann and EY gave me the experience needed. I was surrounded by other girls who had the same aspirations as me and were also keen on gaining experience. We worked together, building our communication skills, leadership, professionalism and time management that have now given me valuable and crucial experience and will hopefully transfer once I am actually in the real world with a career.

This program offers 18–21-year old young women insights, skill development, and connections across industries while providing businesses the opportunity to learn from this demographic.
This takes place during each term and across the week the ladies will visit 5 different businesses.
This program offers a unique opportunity for companies to inspire the next generation while providing valuable real-world experience to young women.

I had an amazing experience spending the day at Leo Burnett through The Women’s Association. It was incredible to learn how they use social media to make their advertisements resonate with everyday people.
Meeting the CEO Carly and hearing her inspiring journey to her position was a highlight of the day. Jasmin and George, who facilitated the program, were so encouraging and made me feel like achieving a similar role is closer than I imagined.
Working on a current brief for McDonald’s was a unique and exciting challenge that gave me a real taste of the industry. I can’t wait for the opportunity to take part in another experience like this!

Testimonial from her experience at Girls' Careers Week

The project will consist of a 3-5 dav retreat which will serve as a beacon of hope for the girls amid the relentless pursuit of perfection perpetuated by social media.
In this offline retreat, girls will get the chance to rediscover their true selves without virtual expectations. This retreat will empower them to rebuild their self-esteem, and confidence, and reaffirm their self-worth.

meet our founding girls
Since 2021 we started a program giving girls the opportunity to get further support from the TWA team and network, whilst they support us with insights to help inform our approach.

"Being one of the founding girls is something I never imagined two years ago, but now I don't regret it at all. The day I became a founding girl changed my life. It showed me the power of one idea to help many people. Deborah, one of my role models, tackled a problem with a crazy idea and made it work, showing me that my opinions (and girls all around the world ) matter.
Looking into the future, I know that my life will be different with new connections, companions, and ideas from the support of the founding girls and executive challenge. I strongly believe the executive challenge will make a big impact on my future, and I'm excited to see it happen one day"
