a place where dreams are nurtured, supported, and turned into reality

our  mission

The Women’s Association was set up to address the persistent gap between aspiration and achievement experienced by women and girls, particularly those from Black and racially minoritised backgrounds. We exist to bridge this gap by creating programmes and pathways that empower and equip women and girls to fulfil their potential.

Our main aim is to support women and girls in education, employment, and with their mental health, making sure nothing holds them back from reaching their potential. We  work closely with schools, local councils, businesses, and other community groups to achieve that.

Our programmes are shaped by what women and girls tell us they need.

For girls, we offer work readiness training, mentorship, work experience, and career insight days. We also run holistic activities like mental health retreats, confidence-building sessions, and public speaking workshops to boost self-esteem.

For women, we provide professional development programs and community events that foster connection and belonging.

By partnering with forward-thinking businesses, we ensure that collectively, we’re not just imagining a better future for women and girls we’re actively building it.

our values

We champion Accessibility, Authenticity, and Actionability ensuring every woman and girl has the support, confidence, and tools to turn ambition into reality.

access

Opportunities should be within reach for every woman and girl.

authenticity

Dreams are most powerful when they come from our true selves.

action

Real change happens when ideas and conversations turn into action.
